Mondragon Health, Koniker technology centre and the Kutxa Onkologikoa- Oncology Institute have recently signed a collaboration agreement to join their abilities and achieve a more efficient management for drug synthesis.

The framework agreement aims to identify improvement opportunities in the field of pharmaceutical manipulation and dosage. Likewise, it intends to analyse new alternatives in the drug synthesis and delivery. In short, it aims to evaluate high-value technology proposals providing innovative solutions for the healthcare sector.

The agreement is the first collaboration stage amongst these bodies, and will extend to the identification of new markets, suppliers and potential clients.

Onkologikoa, the Kutxa Oncology Institute, is a monographic Centre for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. More than 300 professionals from different sectors provide personal patient counselling with the most adequate therapeutic plan involving different oncologists and the state-of-the-art technology at international level.

In turn, Mondragon Health, a company belonging to the Mondragon Corporation, promotes new activities related to the health sector whereas Koniker, a technology research centre, is committed to strengthen the generation of value and the innovation capacity of the companies through the development of new sectors and technology-based activities.
