NorayBio presents a new version of its software, used to predict the effect of new medicaments, in Vienna

(Bilbao, June 2008). The Basque biotechnology firm NorayBio, which develops software for bioscience applications, recently took part in the “10th European Regional ISSX Meeting” held in Vienna, at which it presented the new version of one of its star products: Noraymet Adme.

Noraymet Adme is software that makes it possible to predict the behaviour of new medicaments in humans by using only data obtained from in vitro ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion) tests, and therefore makes the use of laboratory animals for testing unnecessary.

In addition to its predictive capability, Noraymet Adme enables information from different types of in-vitro ADME tests to be integrated, providing a response to the need to manage large volumes of information and offering the capability to compare and relate the information for deductive purposes. Due to this, Noraymet Adme is capable of providing responses which do not seem obvious at first sight of results.

The “10th European Regional ISSX Meeting” is the largest international encounter for professionals in the pharmaceutical sector working on new medical products. NorayBio and Advancell were the only companies from the Spanish State attending the exhibition as exhibitors with their own stands.
