

Proteomika, a subsidiary of the Grupo Progenika, has been chosen for the Empresa Nacional de Innovación (ENISA) / National Enterprise Innovation Award for their work on the identification of biomarkers for clinical diagnoses, using non-invasive physiological samples.
The goal of this project is to develop a Kit for diagnosis and for predicting the progress of illnesses, as well as for understanding the response of the patient to a specific course of treatment.
The ENISA open competition call, this year celebrating its 25 anniversary, brought together a total of 219 candidatures with innovative projects corresponding to five specialised technological fields: Life Science, Industrial and Materials Technology, Energy and the Environment, Means of Transport, and Information and Communications Technologies.
The Award, with a prize of 200,000 euros, was presented by the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Joan Clos i Matheu.
Proteomika S.L., a subsidiary of the Grupo Progenika, was formed in 2002 and, together with Progenika Biopharma, S.A., became the pioneers in the field of Personalised Medicine.
