The R&D Department of the Basque company Quivacolor is committed to the development of environmentally friendly products. Its biological formulations include biotechnology-derived enzymes degrading compounds such as oils and fats.

These products show a wide range of applications: industrial and domestic waste water treatment, sewerage, septic tanks, grease traps, building, flat and house maintenance, workshops, agro-food industry, public or private hospitals.

Moreover, the company has developed a water-based product portfolio (paints, coatings and varnishes) using less hazardous raw materials with better resistance and durability. Likewise, Quivacolor deals with chemicals and it already markets a 100% environmentally friendly biological product range controlled under genetic engineering procedures.

Created more than 30 years ago, Quivacolor is located at the Itziar industrial state and sells its products in many countries through foreign establishments or by means of clients' exports. One of the company's goals is to launch direct product export, and it primarily focuses on the French market.
